About this event

This class aims to give each student increased knowledge and awareness of cultural and personal biases that may inhibit students from fully embracing diversity and creating a successful multicultural real estate business. At the end of this course, each student will be able to:

  • define diversity, social inclusion and culture and how understanding these terms help us in everyday life.
  • Distinguish between personal and implicit biases and how each can adversely shape our perceptions and behaviors when dealing with clients.
  • Explain the importance of mentoring, recruiting and performing meaningful multicultural outreach in their community.
  • Discuss the importance of embracing diversity on both a professional and personal level to grow a thriving and inclusive real estate business.

GPBOR Course #210, 1 CEU Credit. This class is $15 for GPBOR, KWAOR and NRIBR members; $25 for non-members.

Instructor: Robert Morris, Jr., B.S., A.A.S., Broker, TN, International Speaker. You don't want to miss him. This will be Robert's only presentation in RI in 2021.

Advance registration and payment required. Limited spots. Members must register with their 9-digit NRDS member ID number in order to receive the reduced rate. In accordance with RI DBR requirements, class will be recorded & monitored real time. Students MUST have video & audio enabled. No driving. Students found to be taking frequent breaks, not paying attention, turning off the camera or violating our Code of Conduct will not be eligible for CEU's.
